Far Away!
A state situated towards the north part of India, where there are lots of things to explore. Our father of nation named it as small Switzerland, and from ages, it is named as “DEV BHOOMI”. This land is known for its natural surrounding, regional places and for its decency. It may be a picnic spot or trekking area for someone, but for us, it is our homeland to where we belong.

Being a state covered with snow and grasses, a way to heaven has evolved. There are many places in such a small heaven you can explore. The state flower of Uttrakhand is BRAHMAKAMAL. The road trip at this place is something that changes your mind about, being yourself. In one road trip, you realise all your ups and downs, all your barriers, all your distractions are just making your trip beautiful towards life or Uttrakhand. Being a Pahadi its an honourable seat anyone can ever have. Bal Mithai and Pan Mithai are two mithai’s which can conquer your heart just in seconds, If I would describe it, Bal Mithai is chocolate flavoured sweet with some multigrain in it having white balls as covering, whereas, Pan Mithai is a mawa flavoured with something different taste in it enclosed inside a pan which helps the sweet to keep the freshness as it is.

Rituals are gifted here with some fun, whenever there is something SHUBH to happen “Cholia Dance” takes place. Cholia dance is an art form of Uttrakhand where the men’s who are conducting it wear some colourfull clothes having instruments in their hands to play and one of them comes in a woman’s attire and he dances like a woman in between, which makes it beautiful and also lavish. In Cholia Dance there may be many instruments but the “Masak Baja” is the main which sounds like a trumpet but not exactly like that.

Like Cholia Dance ” Jhoda Chachani” is a cultural dance where all the people of the village come together to celebrate something. In this, there is no music system or any stage but there are unity and love for people. They sing a song in the same rhythm and a man in between gives a taal to that rhythm using a hand drum.
The fine beauty of Uttrakhand has taken the hearts of many, the houses are finely architectured in a way to keep a shed and themselves safe at any climatic conditions. A lady has gratitude in her attire and also in her ornaments. In Uttarakhand Pechodi, Galbandh, Dhagul, Nath, Chareu are five things a married Pahadi lady should have. Pechodi is a big scarf yellowish-orange in colour with maroon dots and having some floral design on it. Galbandh is neckless which has a broad surface of any colour with gold designs on it. Dhagul is bracelet wear on the wrist made up of gold and having a design like a jowar seeds on it, Nath is a nosering with a different type of designs and patterns on it. Chareu is a mangalsutr with a pink diamond in it or purely gold.

This culture of fine art has something more in it called AIPAN. Aipan is the art presented on a floor or as a wall hanging, colours used in aipan is made of geru (stone reddish-brown in colour) in the background and white paint made up of crushed rice which help the painting to get enhanced.

Food is the best way to make someone happy and enthusiastic. Here we have many dishes but in them, a Royal dish and Normal dish has a different influence. Royal dish consists of Salad (peese loon ka kachumber), Starter (Murg tikka), Mains (Bhatt ki Chhurkani, Kakdi ka Jholi, Pindaloo ke Gutke, Saag Ghosht, Bhuna Murg ki Tari, Kori Kakdi ka Raita, Pahadi laal Bhatt, Madu ki Roti), Dessert (Jhangore ki Kheer) is a delicious mouth-watering meal.

Normal Dish includes just a Madua ki roti and a salt (loon), made up of Green Chilly, Garlic, Coriander, Bhang ka loon, with a scoop on Ghee and a cup of Tea.
Believe and Faith are two ways we get involved in something, worshipping a god with valuable things is not the real way to do but writing a letter to a god and waiting for his arrangement is a bit fun because “Sabra Ka Fal Mitha Hota Hai Janab” or can say “There Are No Shortcuts to Success”(Whatever your success would be).

This BEAUTY is still left to explore, many places are yet to come with some sudden choices.
